Greetings,

As you all know, we will be hosting our end of the year Board of Governor’s Meeting on December 19th, 2013. The meeting will consist of dinner, the agenda, and a raffling of donated items.

The tentative agenda is as follows:

  • Roll Call
  • Reading, Correction and Adoption of Minutes (Secretary)
  • Reports by Officers and Chairpersons
  • Unfinished Business
    • National Tournaments (Stipends, Delegations, etc.)
  • New Business
    • Junior Olympic Tournament Update
  • Adjournment

Presentations will be done with Power Point; you can send your report to the Secretary to include in the presentation, or you can bring your own. I am asking that the reports be informative and well articulated in a positive manner. This is the time that you can convey to the Board of Governor’s how hard you have been working for the last 10 months. Make sure that you use facts, figures, and statistics; be prepared to answer questions in your area of responsibility. I want you to inform the Board of Governor’s where we were when we took office, and where we are headed. If you need printing support for handouts/documents, please contact Michael Campbell asap.

We have accomplished a lot, and I am grateful to all of you for the hard work you have put into the LBC’s progress. Reminder, that we were elected by the Board of Governor’s to conduct business in their best interest. There will be questions in some area, so please be flexible and accept recommendations with an open mind. Let us give them of the best Board of Governor’s meetings possible.

Respectfully,

Juan Moya (Gulf President)
