Your Gulf Boxing Association Board of Directors has discussed the possibility of stipends being provided for Elite athletes wishing to compete in these events.  It was decided that, limited stipends would be provided for each event on a case by case basis.  Any Elite Gulf Athletes who wish to receive assistance to compete in these events, should formally request a monetary stipend from the Gulf LBC by sending a letter (e-mail) to the Gulf Board of Directors.  Contact Us link.

Each request will be reviewed and evaluated by the BoD or committee.  Only athletes who demonstrate potential to perform at an Elite level and earn a spot in the Olympic Trials will be supported.  Criteria will include, but not be limited to, past performances in local, regional and especially national tournaments, National rankings, boxing experience and championships won.

Note that to only boxers born between January 1, 1976 and December 31, 1997 are eligible to compete in these events.
