Pending approval, USA Boxing plans to hold an open Team Selection Event for the 2015 WSB Season, the 2015 Men’s Continental Championships and the 2015 Men’s Boxing World Championships. The event is planned for November 30 – December 5, 2014 in Chattanooga, Tenn. Fact sheets will be made available shortly upon approval of the selection procedures.
Age for Elite Men and Women Boxers from 18 to 40 years old from January 1, 2017; however, Men Boxers aged 18 following their date of birth will be allowed to participate in Elite Men Competitions (AOB, APB and WSB) immediately. Any male athlete who is 18 and chooses to compete at an Elite Men’s Competition cannot return to compete at the youth level for a USA Boxing sanctioned domestic event.
